Common questions

What happens after the 14-day trial?

Float continues to work with limited features — you can watch 1 folder, and premium features (staging, Quick Look, Command Bar, OCR, pinning, tray icon styles) require a license. Purchase to unlock unlimited folders and all premium features.

Can I switch machines?

Yes. Go to Settings → License and click "Deactivate" on the old machine. This frees up a slot so you can activate on a new one.

Do you offer refunds?

We offer a 14-day refund policy after purchase. Since there's a 14-day free trial, we recommend trying Float thoroughly before buying. Contact hello@filefloat.app for refund requests.
